Face Reality Acne & Skin Care Clinic offers Medical Grade Peels as a quick and convenient way to enhance your appearance, alleviate and eliminate sun damage and conquer resistant acne.
Treatments usually last 30 to 60 minutes. They are one of the most effective ways to rejuvenate skin, lessen sun damage, lighten hyper-pigmentation and soften acne facial scars.
Face Reality Advanced Exfoliating Treatments Corrective Peels
Face Reality Professional Peels involve applying one to six layers of a tca/alpha-hydroxy blend with lighteners and peeling agents to remove the damaged outer layers of skin and reveal a younger, clearer, more radiant complexion.
Exfoliating peels (aka corrective peels) are traditionally performed on the face, hands, neck, back and shoulders, legs and other problem areas to treat acne, fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, and skin discoloration. After treatment, the resulting regenerated skin is noticeably smoother and fresher in appearance. More layers of peel solution are especially beneficial after your acne is under control and you have some dark spots to lift.
Your esthetician will determine at the time of treatment how many layers will be most beneficial for your skin and your skin care goals.

Microdermabrasion
Another type of “no downtime” peel, microdermabrasion is perfect for those who cannot do the Face Reality Professional Peels or Vivant peels (pregnancy or allergy). With this procedure, the outermost surface of the skin is partially or completely removed by light abrasion, to remove sun-damaged skin and to remove or lessen raised scars and dark spots on the skin. We use a diamond-tip crystal-free machine.

Microdermabrasion/Face Reality Professional Peel Combo
This is a more aggressive version of the Microdermabrasion and Face Reality Professional Peels. A layer of peel solution is applied and then the skin is exfoliated with the microdermabrader. Great for those who want more aggressive skin rejuvenation but don’t want to commit to the Vivant Propeel and its downtime.
45 minutes; $125
Vivant Propeel – Medium-Depth Peel
This is our most aggressive peel and you will have about three days of “downtime” where your skin is peeling. Your skin will look fabulous after your skin peels – much softer lines/wrinkles and age and dark spots disappear, resistant acne is arrested.
To get the best results you must pre-condition your skin with a Vitamin A Proprionate product for at least three weeks prior to this peel. Consult with your esthetician about which Vitamin A Proprionate product to use.
